The ISS engages on multiple levels across the continent, enabling this interaction is the heart of the Institute. The Programmes at the ISS ensure that Human Security in Africa is understood and advisories given across the spectrum of challenges facing the continent. From Environmental security to population movement, terrorism to post conflict reconstruction, the programmes in the Institute proved the lifeline to stakeholders across Africa, and indeed the world.
